SIGRED/SBDC client Gila WoodNet contracts with the US Forest Service to harvest small-diameter timber from nearby Gila National Forest, and creates value-added products such as furniture, vigas, fence posts and firewood.

- Partially funded through private investment (2004-2005: $89,250)
Partners with International Business Accelerator
- No-charge assistance to small businesses in all
of New Mexico & Chihuahua
- All international trade inquiries received by the State turned over to IBA
- Trade missions & leads for small businesses
- Home base Global Resource Center with offices in Santa Teresa & Chihuahua City
